Home Manicure

To do home manicure, you will need:

  • four way buffer
  • a pair of nail clippers (do not use cuticle nippers or scissors because they will cause your cuticle thicker)
  • soft toothbrush
  • cuticle oil
  • base polish, colored polish and top coat polish
  • hand towel
  • a bowl filled with warm water
  • antibacterial soap
  • a bottle of cuticle oil
12 Steps To Do A Home Manicure:
  1. Wash one hand in the warm water for five minutes.
  2. Brush the tops of the nails and the white tip.
  3. Dry your nails with hand towel. Rub the towel up your nail, pushing against the cuticle. This will make your cuticles naturally exfoliated.
  4. Trim your nails using the nail clippers.
  5. On your 4 way buffer, feel the different grits by feeling how rough each part is. Use the roughest section and file the free-edge, round the corner. Using the slightly smoother surface, go back along the edges, removing the filings that you can see.
  6. Rub your finger across each edge, smoothing rough places with this same part of the file.
  7. If you are not going to use any polish, use the smoothest surface to buff the tops of your nails to remove the light ridges. Buff the nail with the rubber section of your 4 way buffer.
  8. If you are using colored polish, apply your base coat, do not apply it too thick.
  9. If you only want a clear polish, apply two coats of this base coat and let it dry.
  10. Apply your top coat and let it dry.
  11. Apply a tiny amount of cuticle oil.
  12. Massage into the nails and cuticles. Done!
